McCall Sharp Architecture was contracted to design an addition/renovation for this YMCA facility. The 59,160 square foot facility includes 33,787 square feet of new space, 11,247 square feet of renovated space and 14,126 square feet of existing space.

The addition includes a natatorium with an 8 lane, 25 yard competition pool with a viewing area and a 50’ x 18’ exercise therapy pool; men’s and women’s, and family locker rooms; YMCA administrative offices; entrance and lobby; laundry facilities; additional gymnasium with suspended running track; cardiovascular center; fitness director’s office; and activity room.

The renovation areas include a nursery, aerobics room, and vending and cafe with view of existing gymnasium. Also included is the Memorial Hospital wing, which includes doctor offices, x-ray facilities, and exam rooms for physical therapy.
