Mid-Ohio Co-Op

McCall Sharp were the architects for this recently completed central facility for a rural cooperative electric company. The project is comprised of a 15,400 square foot district headquarters office building and an associated 16,800 square foot truck and equipment storage warehouse facility sited on (8) acres of developed property including a, electric pole and transformer storage yard, fueling station and a 1.5 acre geothermal pond.

The entire project is heated and cooled geothermally and has advanced and efficient electrical systems such as LED lighting and load managing software to maximize emergency generator capacity. The office building includes (15) offices, critical systems SCADA control room, and an 1,800 square foot community meeting room with catering kitchen and a coffee-cafe, staff lounge.
