This 3,120 square foot, post frame construction garage, has three bays and an area for a future meeting room, office, storage room, mechanical room, and two unisex restrooms. To keep the cost of the project within budget (under $400,000), the Township decided not to build the walls to create the future interior rooms. We placed gravel where the restrooms would be located, so they can easily add plumbing for the restrooms in the future (instead of pouring the concrete floor & then having to cut into it later). The final cost of the project includes a holding tank for the drains in the garage. If the Township would have been able to build the garage as it was designed (per the floor plan below), it would have cost $436,800, which is $140/S.F.
