Clark County Recycling Center

Springfield, OH

2007

McCall Sharp  Architecture completed the $490,000 Recycling Center for Clark County Waste Management District and the Clark County Commission in April, 2007. A forty-year-old 10,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building was converted into a large recycling room for storing and bundling of post consumer waste as well as creation of office space for the district. A loading dock was added and all environmental controls necessary to provide a comfortable work area year round in the recycling room. The administration area includes offices, training/conference room and galley/kitchen. McCall Sharp Architecture worked diligently to use many post consumer recycled materials as structural and decorative elements to promote “Green” programs and design.
