Village of Belmont Volunteer Fire Station
Belmont, OH
2026
McCall Sharp Architecture designed this new 11,000-square-foot fire and EMS station to enhance emergency response capabilities while providing a functional, efficient, and welcoming environment for the Village of Belmont's volunteer firefighters.
The facility features approximately 6,580 square feet of apparatus bay space, designed to accommodate fire and emergency medical service vehicles, along with dedicated turnout gear storage and decontamination areas that support firefighter health and safety. The apparatus bays are housed within a pre-engineered metal building structure, providing a durable and cost-effective solution for the department's operational needs.
The adjoining office and living areas include four bunk rooms, a kitchen, dayroom, administrative offices, and community space. These areas were thoughtfully planned to support daily operations, firefighter comfort, and opportunities for community engagement.
By integrating emergency response functions with comfortable living accommodations and administrative spaces, the new station provides the Belmont Volunteer Fire Department with a modern, purpose-built facility that will serve its firefighters and the surrounding community for years to come.
