McCall Sharp Architecture was selected to design Tri-Township’s new main station and asked to design it to match The Rex Scott Station’s design. This 20, 565 SF Fire and EMS Facility includes a pre-engineered steel building portion, with six apparatus bays, which will house the fire fighting apparatus for the fire department and emergency medical services. The project also includes a 1-story conventionally framed portion for office and living facilities which will connect directly to the apparatus bays. The building includes bunk rooms, a day room, full kitchen, fitness room, offices for fire administration, and a meeting room (that will be available for community events as well as for department use) and rescue training spaces. All associated spaces such as a turn-out gear room, decontamination/laundry, cascade/maintenance, and EMS storage are included in the design.
