Moorefield Township Fire Station

Springfield, OH

2000

Moorefield  Township is a rapidly growing area north of Springfield, Ohio. Township offices, in a 100 year old storefront and two inadequate fire houses were consolidated into this new efficient facility. The building itself is designed to be a focal point and Township Center due to its location, tower  and masonry features. Brick was also selected to blend into the masonry brick residential community. Anticipated growth will position it in the center as development is realized to the north and east.

The  building is 12,300 square feet, costing approximately $1 million. The new facility contains Township offices, a large meeting room, and 10 Township, Fire & EMS vehicles in 6 bays. Construction was completed in May 2000.
