McCall Sharp Genet is providing architectural services for a new 22,170-square-foot fire and EMS facility for Eaton Township, designed to enhance emergency response operations, prioritize firefighter health and safety, and strengthen connections with the surrounding community.

The station features five drive-through apparatus bays, a dedicated decontamination bay, turnout gear storage, equipment maintenance areas, and training support spaces. Operational and living areas are thoughtfully separated to minimize exposure to contaminants, while 12 bunk rooms, two dayrooms, a full kitchen, fitness facilities, and administrative offices provide a comfortable and functional environment for firefighters.

Community-focused amenities, including a public training/community room and walk-in clinic, extend the facility's purpose beyond emergency response. The site has also been strategically planned to accommodate future township development, including a potential township hall, park facilities, and recreational amenities.

Through careful attention to operational efficiency, firefighter wellness, and long-term flexibility, the project will provide Eaton Township with a modern public safety facility designed to serve both its first responders and the community for years to come.
