The project is a $5.1 million renovation of Springfield South High School for Springfield City Schools and tenant Global Impact STEM Academy of Springfield, Ohio. The renovated facility will house (4) laboratories and prep rooms, (9) classrooms, (2) alternative teaching areas, (2) student laptop lounges, a multi-purpose gymnasium/cafeteria, and supportive administrative offices and work rooms.

Most notable architecturally, the renovated building is designed with a new entry pavilion projecting from the historic building that will reflect the dynamics of the new STEM school and its innovative mission.
