The project is a $4.2 million renovation of Springfield South High School for Springfield City Schools’ Ohio Straight A Fund grant programs. The renovated facility will house creative “maker labs”, teacher professional development training spaces, the Hispanic outreach offices, On-Course offices and a large YouMedia space. The renovation area also includes additional administrative offices and support rooms for after hours programming. The new program spaces in the historic building are accessed by a new entry pavilion projecting from the north side of the building.
