This high security care facility is intended to provide: (1) housing or accommodation; (2) personal, custodial, or medical care; and (3) a supervised environment. The new two-story, 31,800 S.F., intensive care center is constructed of concrete block with wood truss roof framing, standing seam metal roof, and slab-on-grade floor structure. Most programattic uses for the building will be on the ground level. Part of the second level will be used for administrative offices, but most of it will be used for maintenance and mechanical purposes. The building will contain 4 residential wings totaling 48 beds and administrative offices. The building will also contain common areas, recreational spaces, and break rooms.
